Today was the main event, the tournament day was here and we were up early to set up a table outside the signups for the 5K to collect money. We also helped out with the counting of the shirts for the race. After collecting money at the race we went in the rink and began to setup up the nets and border patrol to make both the rinks ready. After we got that we went out to get gift cards for the winners. Then we had to print out our final bracket and waiver for the little kids to sign before they play. Then we went into the rink and put a desk up, all the posters, wrote on the the whiteboard in the front with all the teams so people would know, and setup the goalie equipment. Then lastly we had the tournament where I was personally a ref for the whole time which was from about 1:30-5:00, and at the end of it all we had a trophy presentation and then had to clean it all up. Overall we were able to raise about $750.00.
